Who Are We?

We are the most important union organization in central Mexico. We have more than 69,000 affiliated members across 170 companies located in the states of Guanajuato, Querétaro, Jalisco, and San Luis Potosí — Mexican companies as well as companies from 20 other countries, including the United States, Japan, Germany, Spain, France, and China.

At SITIMM we fully practice union autonomy, which gives the organization economic independence and freedom in its decision-making and actions in defense of its members. We are also an inclusive, plural, progressive, democratic, and nonpartisan organization that promotes the continuous betterment of our members and their families in partnership with public and private institutions that share our goals.

To promote the integration and unity of workers in order to provide them with satisfactory union services attentive to their needs, grounded in the defense of the rights enshrined in the Federal Labor Law, the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the SITIMM Programs.

To be the union organization that guarantees optimal, comprehensive support for its members both inside and outside the workplace, helping them achieve job stability, economic advancement, and social and family development.
