This is reflected in assertive communication, attention to the rank and file inside and outside the workplace, and the implementation of programs for union education, integral social welfare and safety, support for family finances, sports, cultural and recreational activities, and permanent effective communication. We must also recognize the constant work of union delegates and advisors who provide support and service to our base of workers, thereby delivering **genuine Unionism!**
Today, the future of unionism demands that we develop a greater capacity for analysis and awareness of the benefits achieved **through the workers' struggle that SITIMM has waged** together with our members. A look at the wages and benefits of the past 5 years is enough to see the progress and evolution of **social benefits — improvements in year-end bonuses, savings funds, grocery vouchers, on-site cafeterias, transportation, as well as wage increases** — along with the addition of new and better job categories in the salary tables. This continuous improvement is largely the result of the determined participation of those who have served on review commissions, and of those who have kept their identity within the company and have, through their effort, faith, patience and commitment, made our affiliates' collective rights competitive and attractive in the automotive industry. We must not overlook the **permanent work the SITIMM union representation** has carried out at every workplace: thanks to communication, consultation with the base, immediate reporting of results and publication of pay-scale and benefit increases, today we are confident we have responsibly fulfilled our union mandate, generating genuine Unionism!
The processes that will, in the immediate future, accompany the validation of union work mean that voting directly to maintain with SITIMM the pace of authentic, responsible, transparent and efficient representation — in order to keep building job stability, economic advancement and social and family wellbeing — goes hand in hand with the freedom to choose a proactive union that, through its programs for attention to the rank and file and their families, continues to build **unity in union work.**
We must be fraternal during the election process, always strengthening those ties so that we project ourselves as one **unity in union work**, so that the **strength and representation of SITIMM** and of its base of workers pulverize the petty interests of those who seek to interfere in our union work by deceitfully attempting to **claim the rights won by SITIMM through union struggle** over nearly 50 years. Thanks to SITIMM's permanent model of management and service, we can recognize its work, presence, programs and perseverance, as well as the important work of our Labor Training Center CEFORMA A.C., which carries out worker education and training activities with Educational Access Centers of the Universidad Virtual del Estado de Guanajuato UVEG, along with various training agreements with CECATI and other civil-society organizations — not to mention dental care services, FONACOT services, libraries, the job bank, IMSS and INFONAVIT advisory services and the many other ongoing services offered at our offices.
It is essential to underscore the importance of participating in the **democratic processes for electing delegates, commissioners or Union Committees**. Our base of workers must be representative, informed and responsible toward its environment, so as to take part in decisions that continue to empower everyone together and form one great family, **the great SITIMM family**.
