
On February 13, in Irapuato, SITIMM held its Ordinary Union Council Assembly with more than 700 union representatives from 170 companies. 2026 contract negotiations delivered raises of up to 20% in seven companies and brought membership close to 70,000 workers.

From August 21–23 in Mexico City, SITIMM held its Ordinary Trade Union Council Assembly 2025 with 650 voting delegates from 170 plants. The Trade Union Executive Committee's activity report and the Finance Commission's report for January–June 2025 were presented and approved.

Basic trade-unionism course for elected rank-and-file representatives: SITIMM philosophy, statutes, role of the trade-union advisor, collective bargaining agreement, and authentic collective bargaining. This session was attended by members from YAMATO and ELASTOMIX.

TWB workers approved the collective bargaining agreement wage revision through a personal, free, direct and secret vote, securing better wages and benefits.

SITIMM begins distributing school supply kits across its sections for workers' children in preschool, elementary, middle, high school and university, as part of the in-kind return of union dues.

At the MONROE, AMERICAN INDUSTRIES TOYOTA, DEACERO MACROHUB, NIFCO and WEBASTO plants, members voted to elect their union delegates and committees through a personal, free, direct and secret ballot, with full respect for union freedom.

Workers at ITT Motion elected their Union Delegate through a personal, free, direct and secret ballot. The process took place inside the plant, ensuring full respect and freedom of association.

SITIMM held information workshops at Grupo Antolin, Pierburg Pump Technology and Cie Celaya to explain the negotiation process and the results of the 2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement Review.

Through a personal, free, direct and secret vote, the workers of Flexitech and Cie Celaya approved the contract review agreement of the collective bargaining agreement, securing better wages and benefits at both plants.

To mark March 8, International Women's Day, SITIMM shares interviews with Women Who Inspire: Lorena Alfaro García, Ma. Soledad Mayela Hernández Toledo, Flor Angeli Núñez Jasso and Leticia Salazar Sandoval, to highlight their achievements and inspire other women.

The Member of the Section Union Committee and/or Section Union Delegate is SITIMM's representative at the workplace and before the Social Institutions: defending, promoting and representing affiliated workers with ethics, professionalism and a thorough command of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Internal Work Regulations.

On November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, SITIMM recognizes women workers and takes on seven union commitments to prevent and eradicate violence and harassment against women, especially in the workplace.
